Handmade to order in Elche (Spain), the Marguerite circular sandals offer a lightweight and conscious alternative for both beach days and city strolls. They feature a barefoot-style insole made of rubber and cork, stitched to an EVA sole, using locally sourced recycled materials to minimize environmental impact. In homage to Marguerite Yourcenar, a renowned novelist, essayist, poet, playwright, translator, and notable vegetarian, known for her novel "Memoirs of Hadrian."
